Ps 139:13 You (You refers to God.) formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb.
"Formed my inmost being" is our soul. God formed our souls in our mother's womb.
Is 44:23 Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and will be glorified in Israel.
44:24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens alone, who spread out the earth—Who was with me?
Is 49:1 Listen to me, (Me refers to Isaiah.) O coastlands, and hearken, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
Is 49:5 And now the Lord says, who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him, and that Israel might be gathered to him, for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength—

1:15 for he will be great before the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
To gain grace from God requires a soul. John had to have a soul in his mother's womb to receive grace.
Lk 1:34 And Mary said to the Angel, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?”
1:35 And the Angel said to Her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon You, and the power of the Most High will overshadow You; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.
By the power Holy Spirit, the soul of Jesus was created in Mary from the conception. Jesus soul was not created at His birth.
